“…for in the vacuum created by the loss of what is most precious, opportunity abounds. Influence is maximized and desire becomes destiny. For example, on this board, the most valuable piece is the bishop. Therefore, for the game to be won…”
Epic Olivia Dunham Speeches | 05/???
“Oh, I can grasp it just fine. I don’t trust you, Dr. Bell. Or William, or Willem, or whatever cutesy name you think might appeal to my childhood instincts. It won’t. Your company has been involved in, if not directly responsible for, some of the most horrific things that I have ever seen. To say nothing of the fact that you just yanked me into a parallel universe to warn me about an inter-dimensional war that I believe you are responsible for starting. So what I want is not warmth, or tea- it’s the truth.”
“How long has he been dead?” Nina Sharp, Pilot - Fringe, Season 1 Episode 1
“How long has she been dead?” Nina Sharp, Brave New World P2 - Fringe, Season 4, Episode 22
“I supplied Fringe Division with the 76 model. (blows up trucks and people) This is the 77.” William Bell, Over There P2 - Fringe, Season 2, Episode 22
“Now this gun is an invention of Dr Bell’s. Shoots faster.” Jessica Holt, Brave New World P2 - Fringe, Season 4, Episode 22
“You will experience loss the way I did.” Walternate, The Day We Died - Fringe, Season 3, Episode 22
“Forgive me.” Walter Bishop, Brave New World P2 - Fringe, Season 4, Episode 22
“In this game of skill, one must have, above all else, his patience. The board changes, but very slowly. The art of chess… the art is knowing when a piece is most valuable, and then, in that very moment, being willing to sacrifice it. For in the vacuum created by the loss of what is most precious, opportunity abounds. Influence is maximized, and desire becomes destiny.” - William Bell, 421
“You remember what he did to Olivia. Even you can’t be that compassionate.” -Walter, 419
“He’s been activating me.” -Olivia, 422
What if Olivia doesn’t die (in this timeline at least). What if the “harmonic vibrations” from that soul-magnet-bell that William Bell has in his office ‘activates’ Olivia completely and somehow turns her to his dark side. Maybe he’ll add her to his collection of super species that are already in his ark to bring into his brave new world… And if she’s pregnant - well then she can give birth to the mother of what will eventually become the Observers. She could still be alive in 2036, only she’s no longer our!Olivia. At least not until she’s rescued by the ‘old team’ & her daughter who managed to escape…
William Bell: You taught me, there are as many atoms in the human body as there are stars in the sky. That’s how many atom bombs I am.
Nick Lane (or his alternate version) might not be the only one potentially using his powers for evil in this new timeline; Noble also hinted that a “major, major player from the past” comes back within the next three episodes, but couldn’t reveal more than that. - Huffington Post
